This restaurant is particularly hard to review. Their meat can sometimes be 10/10, but if it is not 10/10, for whatever reason it is 1/10 - borderline inedible. As in, we have to leave it even when we are hungry. It can be that bad. Thus clearly, they have a major issue with consistency - and when you can be paying upwards of 1 million VND ($40+, that's a lot in Vietnam), then getting 1/10 food is VERY disappointing, and frustrating.

It does not help that there service is very, very slow. This is because they have to pre-cook their meat a bit before serving, but it takes them so long to do so. Generally, you need to order all in one go from the start, as it can take 30 minutes to an hour for them to bring the meat out. Yes, it takes that long.

Ironically, we have been here and their branch in Lotte West Lake in Hanoi multiple times - hoping for that 10/10 experience each time, but it comes only like one out of five times. So yes, the review here actually also applies to the Lotte West Lake branch too.

With that said, when the food is 10/10, it is amazing - the meat is truly tender, and cooking on the stone to finish it off really locks in the flavor and it is just a pleasure to eat - don't even need to dip in any additional sauces or anything like that.
